- Hanukkah 2018 will begin in the evening of Sunday, December 2, 2018 and ends in the evening of Monday, December 10, 2018
- Hanukkah 2019 will begin in the evening of Sunday, December 22, 2019 and ends in the evening of Monday, December 30, 2019
- Hanukkah 2020 will begin in the evening of Thursday, December 10, 2020 and ends in the evening of Friday, December 18, 2020
What is Hanukkah?
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire. Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.
